Race for the Cure Fun Run

We had fun last weekend running in the Race for the Cure 5k fun run. Michael never runs, and he's never run in a 5k fun run; so I was so excited when he said that he would run in it with me. I got to watched him run through the finish line just pushing it....and with a stroller too. He did awesome! It was fun to see my friend, Kelly, at the run too. Her mom has been a survivor of breast cancer for 5 years.

It was so nice spending time with my husband. What I've definitely learned lately is that it is so important to spend time with each other. Since I don't really see him much during the week, the weekend is our time together. It has really made us closer by making time for each other.
