Evacuees

We made it out of Baton Rouge and out of the hurricane. We're so blessed to have family up north that we can go to otherwise we'd probably be stuck at LSU-S with all of evacuees. We spent most of the day helping Mike's dad cutting down his 8 acre corn maze to waist high so that it would not get blown over from the potential storm up in Shreveport. There were a bunch of us with machetes. It was kinda scary just holding it. There so dangerous. Cutting the stalks was like cutting through the jungle. We were so worn out. So much for Labor Day huh?! At least we get more days of school off!
