Laie Falls Hiking Trail

We decided to go on a hike, and we found one just 3 miles away in Laie. The day before we went to Diamond Head, a volcanic crater, which is a short hike but with steep steps (with 70 and then 90 steps.....killer). It was a beautiful view of the ocean once we got to the top. (I wish we had pictures, but the camera battery died.)

This hike was a 10 mile roundtrip hike up to a waterfall. It was such a cool hike. We started through a forest, then through an arid area, and then through a narrow trail up to the top. It took us about 2 hours to get to the top, and it was so nice to sit and relax and have a picnic by the waterfall. Our legs were definitely burning after this and the day before.
